Austin Davis
Austin Davis

Austin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern in the state of Texas. He earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from The Church of God Theological Seminary. Austin has worked in public mental health as a rehab case manager for the past three years. He has 10+ years working with adolescences and small groups within the local church. Austin continues to search for avenues by which he can serve those whom he comes in contact with. He enjoys sports, playing guitar and spending time with his wife Caroline.




Joe Eastham
Joe Eastham

Joe is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas. He earned his Master’s Degree from Hardin-Simmons University, majoring in Family Psychology. Joe has worked in both public and private sectors as a case manager, an assessment specialist and a therapist. He has extensive experience working with students in both public schools and universities. Joe has supervised the implementation of several substance abuse and addiction recovery programs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He currently provides counseling for children in the foster care system. Joe also provides therapy for individuals and families serving in the United States Military.

Joe currently supervises contracted therapists that provide services under several state and private contracts. He monitors the administration and weekly business of the group practice.

Joe is married to Jessica Eastham, and they have two children, Luke and Tyler.


Todd Garlington
Todd Garlington

Todd is a Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern licensed by the state of Texas. He is a graduate, with honors from Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas with an Associate Arts degree. He is currently working towards his bachelor's degree with an end goal of becoming a Masters Level LPC. Todd was also a successful business owner for more than twenty years before making the decision to return to his passion of reaching out to those suffering with chemical dependency issues. Todd is the founder and program director of The Finish Line, a faith-based 12 Step Model, after care program located in Azle, Texas. Todd has a deep understanding of many of the challenges that are faced by addicts and alcoholics due to his own life experiences both having been through treatment and being in recovery himself. Todd is married with three children ranging from ages 5 to 21.


Phillip Hamby
Phillip Hamby

Philip is a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. He has worked in many specialties in nursing including emergency and corrections nursing. Prior to nursing, he served for five years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Philip is currently in graduate school working on a Master's of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner. Philip is married to Sherrie, and they have three children, Gavin, Blaine and Lilly.





Kyle Hargrove
Kyle Hargrove

Kyle is a licensed professional counselor who received his upper level education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been a professional counselor since 1992, and has been in private practice full time or part time since 1994. Kyle has spent the last six years working with, and developing a working understanding of children in foster and adoptive care. His time in this field has also given him insight into the administrative world of dealing with Medicaid and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. His experience with kids also includes serving as the Crisis Counselor at Haltom High School in the Birdville Independent School District for two years, and ten years as a youth minister. Kyle is also a certified Home Assessor for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, conducting assessments on prospective foster and adoptive homes for the state and also for private placement agencies.

Kyle’s professional experience also spans two decades of corporate training. In that role he trains the workplace in effective leadership and supervision skills, and assists organizations in the creation and upkeep of effective teams.

Kyle and his wife Debbi have five children that run the gamut from a high school senior to a senior at Texas A&M, and have one son serving the United States in the U.S. Navy.


Joseph Prekup
Joseph Prekup

Joseph Prekup was born in Phoenix, AZ, and raised in Prescott. His education in the culinary world started when he was a child cooking with his grandmother. Since those young days in the kitchen he has attended Northern Arizona University and is a graduate of The Culinary School of The Rockies and has had the opportunity to work for and learn from some amazing chefs. His travels and studies have taken him from the warm beaches of Southern California to the windy beaches of the South of France. He has worked and taught at as a chef throughout North Texas. Joseph and his wife Heather live in Keller, Texas.




Robert Shryoc
Robert Shryoc

Robert Shryoc was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1990, he went to work with his father in the family business providing recognition products and leadership training for high schools and colleges in North Texas. Upon his dad's retirement in 1999, Robert took over operations and ran the organization through 2007. After a couple of years in commercial real estate, he joined the Stonegate Center project as director of development. Robert's role at Stonegate is to build a referral network of counselors, pastors, physicians, attorneys and anyone else that finds themselves if direct contact with families in need of residential treatment for a loved one. Robert is also the primary contact for families coordinating admission into Stonegate. He is currently enrolled in the Weatheford College Licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling program.

Robert has served as a Young Life leader and is a member of Fort Worth Presbyterian Church in America. Robert and his wife Trudy live in Aledo, Texas with their three children.


J. Dan Smith
J. Dan Smith

J. Dan Smith has been a licensed professional counselor in Texas since 1990. He has a master's degree in counseling and a doctorate in psychology. Dan has extensive experience in hospital treatment programs and has owned and managed treatment programs in Texas, New Mexico, and Montana. He was also the training director for a substance abuse hospital in Saudi Arabia. With a long history in both private practice and clinical work, Dan currently directs a counseling center in his local church. J. Dan is married to Tammy Smith, a registered nurse, and has two grown children and five grandchildren.
